SAFE CARE FELINE SPAY NEUTER CLINIC

Raleigh, NC

We appreciate your interest in SAFE Care Feline Spay Neuter Clinic. Below is information about our low-cost clinic:

ABOUT OUR CLINIC

SAFE Care Feline Spay Neuter Clinic

The SAFE Care Feline Spay Neuter Clinic opened February 7, 2005. SAFE Care is a permanent clinic housed at SHFC, under the ownership of Betsy Pethick, DVM.

Dr. Pethick brings 19 years of experience to the clinic, including 9 years performing pediatric spay neuter surgery. Licensed by the NC Veterinary Medical Board, SAFE Care is also available to the general public who need low cost spay neuter services for their feline pets.

WHY WE DO THIS

Stop the Deadly Cycle of Pet Overpopulation

Like you we are acutely aware of the problems caused by pet overpopulation. We are also aware of the limited resources that all of us face with ever-increasing medical expenses.

6,000 Sterilized and Counting

The SAFE Care Clinic reached a significant milestone in 2008 - over 6,000 sterilizations performed. Initially open only 1 day a week, the non-profit clinic is now open Monday through Friday and has expanded to accommodate the ever-growing number of homeless, stray and feral cats in the Triangle.

WHO WE HELP

Triangle Strays, Feral Cats and Personal Pets

To help rescuers and members of the community, SAFE Haven for Cats offers low cost spaying and neutering for cats and kittens at our clinic. We provide services to stray and feral cats as well as for pets.

Age and Weight Requirements

This program is available to all healthy cats of 12 weeks or older. Kittens must be in good condition and weigh at least 2.5 pounds (usually around 12-15 weeks).

We are accepting vouchers from Opens in New WindowAnimalKind's $20 Fix and the
