You’d do anything to give your furry friend the healthiest and best life possible, but taking care of them is not always the easiest task. There are often unexpected bumps in the road, so it’s important to know how to handle these obstacles and make the best decisions for their future. Luckily for you, SAFE Haven for Cats is pleased to announce the return of its Feline Fundamentals series to give you all the information you need to take care of the kitties!

Over the course of the next year, we will host eight different workshops including “Bottle Feeding Orphan Kittens,” “Pet Readiness for Natural Disasters,” and “Caring for Senior Cats.” No matter what your interests are, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

To give everyone adequate space to grow your knowledge and engage with the content, we are limiting each session to only 25 participants. Spots are likely to fill up early, so be sure to sign up as soon as you can! Each class is only $5, which is cheaper than most drinks at Starbucks!

Feline Friendly Fun-damentals – Tuesday, June 5, 2018 – RSVP HERE

We will discuss the environmental enrichment and needs of cats. We will also demonstrate clicker training for cats.


Pet Readiness for Natural Disasters – Tuesday, July 25, 2017 – RSVP HERE

Pets are such an integral part of the family, it’s important to have a plan to protect and save them from natural disasters, too! We will have a discussion and share tips concerning emergency preparedness, specifically for those loveable furballs.
