Perdita is the Latin word for "lost" - you can say that it is a good name for me because I used to be a little lost, as a community kitten. I also found out that one of the character's in Shakespeare's Winter's Tale was named Perdita; she is described as thinking she was just a simple girl but she was really a child of royalty. I like that - even though I'm very young, I used to think all I was ever going to be was an outside cat but I know that I'm more special than that! Are you my royal parents?
