Your time to help them is now…

There’s something I know that I don’t need to tell you: Life is incredibly different for all of us in the face of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Life changed in the blink of an eye and not much is the same here at SAFE Haven for Cats.

The 70 cats in the shelter have a dedicated team of 13 staff each day. We are caring for new litters of kittens and giving every cat enriching activities to fill their day. The cats sure do love having a full team of people waiting on them.

And of course, there is the reality of our lack of funds needed to care for these innocent animals. Our largest fundraising event of the year, the Tuxedo Cat Ball that would have raised more than $125,000 has been postponed. In addition, our basic income from adoptions and spay/neuter clinic services have completely evaporated. Each passing week is another $5,000 in critical operating revenue lost.

Our reserves – both financially and emotionally – are being tested. We need your help now.

Once this is over the demand for our services will be greater than it has ever been before. We will matter more than ever, and we need to be ready to adopt hundreds of cats and kittens to support our partner county shelters, to feed people’s pets, and to provide low-cost spay/neuter services.

Our challenge is making it from “here” to “there”. And we need your help.

Your generous financial support will help us get from here to there. I can promise you that your gift in any amount…$5, $50, or $500…will be appreciated and every penny of it will be used to care for the animals.

This is your chance to make a difference. Your chance to fight back against a virus that threatened to undo 26 years of selfless commitment to innocent animals. Please choose to stand with us by making your gift today.

Thank you for your friendship and stay strong as we navigate this difficult moment together.

Sincerely,
Pam Miller
