My Story: Hi, I was rescued in early August, so my name is Augie. I was found as a tiny kitten out in the country where a kind man let me stay on his covered porch, fed me, and protected me from coyotes, owls, and bobcats. I endured the brutal July heat and sleepless nights alone in the dark until one of the man’s family members took me in and introduced me to indoor life while searching for a cat rescue shelter to take me since all these kind folks already had much older kitties who didn’t seem to like me no matter how hard I tried. But I took to indoor life like a champ and I love my play time,toys, and treats, but once I crash I just want to cuddle up next to you and chill out. I love being around people, sleeping in air conditioning, the safety of the indoors, and watching TV while cuddling next to someone is my new habit. I am a gray kitten with subtle stripes and a little swirl on my side that sort of looks like the Andromeda Galaxy. I want to make you the center of my universe and boldly go where no feline has gone before.
