It was a Hole in One!
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for the first Purrfect Putt Charity Golf Tournament!
On a sunny day (for the most part!) we had a great time hitting the links for cats at North Ridge Country Club. Over 100 golfers competed and helped us raise $46,477 for our lifesaving work.
We appreciate the efforts of everyone involved and our volunteers for helping make the day a success.
Congratulations to our winning team – Sue Bathgate, Alex Gottleib, Blake Pittman, and Marty Previtte! They completed the course with a score of 48.

About SAFE Haven for Cats:
Using no-kill principles and education to save cats’ lives.
SAFE Haven for Cats is Raleigh’s leading no-kill cat shelter. Since opening, SAFE Haven has orchestrated the adoptions of more than 15,300 cats and kittens and spayed or neutered more than 53,000 cats, kittens and small dogs in our clinic. In the last fiscal year, 1,323 cats and kittens were adopted; 7,285 cats, kittens and small dogs were sterilized in our clinic; hundreds of animals were fed through our Pet Food Pantry; and 320 cats were temporarily housed in 82 foster care homes.
