YOU Make the Difference!

YOU Make the Difference!

All month long we’ve been sharing how much your dollar means to the cats in SAFE Haven. Because YOU have been able to save even more cats than before and reach more cat lovers than ever.

Since July – just six months:

  • More than 540 cats and kittens have been adopted
  • Over 2,059 cats have been sterilized at the SAFE Care Clinic (25% for free thanks to generous donors like you!)
  • 92 cats saved from emergency situations

We’ve promised our feline friends to do even better in 2020. We need YOU to help keep our promise.

Once matched:
Your donation of $25 will feed three kittens for six days.
Your donation of $85 helps control the pet population by spaying or neutering three cats.
Your donation of $125 pays for a month of antibiotics, nose drops and eye ointment for 12 cats with colds.

You have to hurryour match offer ends on 12/31/19 at 11:59 PM. We’ve raised $117,700 and only need $22,300 to reach our goal of $140,000!!

Donate now and help us say “yes” to all of the cats that need us!

The Cats Have a Surprise for You!

The Cats Have a Surprise for You!

It’s the last days to give in 2019 and…
All Donations Are Tripled Matched!

Yep, you read it right. Your donations will make 3 times the impact thanks to a surprise challenge by our leadership donors. We’ve got less than $22,000 left to raise in 2019 until we reach our goal of $140,000 for cats in the Triangle. Be a BIG part of making 2020 great for local kitties.

YOU can make it happen! The cats are counting on YOU!

Clinic News: Winter Tips Save Kitty Lives! ❄️

Clinic News: Winter Tips Save Kitty Lives! ❄️

Wintry weather can be hard for humans, but it’s also hard for cats in the community. Here are a few tips to help keep kitties healthy during cold months:

  • If you leave food out for stray cats, leave a little more than you normally do. Cats need extra energy to stay warm and extra food can help them conserve it.
  • While you’re staying inside and warm, use your arts and crafts talents to make DIY feral cat shelters that give cats a safe, warm place to stay. Here’s an easy tutorial to follow.
  • Check under your car’s hood and around your tires before driving – cats sometimes curl up in engines to stay warm!

Matchmakers for Life

Matchmakers for Life

854. That’s the incredible number of cats who found their homes this year. Matching cats with their perfect owner is a big part of why we do what we do.

Here are a few sweet kitties who found their fur-ever homes in the past few years:

CC and Cleo brought love and joy to a household after unexpected loss.
• While Jax and Josie started as the rescues, they became the rescuers after finding their fur-ever home.
Tino proved that the cover doesn’t always match the book.

That’s just three examples of why we love our work and want to do even more in 2020. We want to continue finding homes for cats and we need your help to do that.

Your donations give us the necessary resources to help cats from their first to their last day in the shelter. We’ve raised $104,880 and we’re so close to our goal of $140,000. Will you help us by donating today and sharing our mission with friends and family?

Choose how you can best help:

    • DONATE: From $2 to $2,000, every dollar means that we can do what we need to do to save cats. Through the end of the year, your donation will be MATCHED, so everyone wins!
    • SHARE: Follow our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages for the latest on our work and share our posts with your followers!
