Do you want to know more about SAFE Haven for Cats and its adoption process? How do we make sure you find your forever furbaby? What do we do before you even come in the door and what do we do after you leave with one of our cute kitties?

Staff and adoption counselors will be here to discuss everything that makes adopting from us special, personal and fun!

This is a free event that comes with a tour of our facilities, an opportunity to fill out an adoption survey, and an interactive presentation so you can ask questions about the medical care and enrichment our kitties receive during their stay. And of course, there is a meet and greet with our fantastic, adorable cats and kittens!

Check the Chip
We know that microchips can help you and your cat reunite if you’re separated, but only if you register your up-to-date contact information! In a study done at Ohio State University, the biggest reason that kitty owners weren’t found: incorrect or missing information in the microchip registry.

SAFE Care wants to thank all of our firefighters, police and emergency medical responders with a special. All first responders with ID will be able to schedule a spay or neuter for their kitten or cat for $25. Limit 2 cats per household. Click here for more!

Thanks to our community, we welcomed 30 new cats to our shelter. As you might have seen in the news, SAFE Haven took in the Worthy 30 that were rescued by The Humane Society of the U.S.

The cats are settling in, but we see the full effects of their previous care. Some are very scared and need to be showered with love before they are ready for adoption. A few have ringworm and need medical attention.
